Email Setup

Configure email accounts on desktop applications and mobile devices using automatic or manual configuration.

Most modern devices and email applications support automatic configuration, which is the quickest and easiest option for setting up your email account.

Email can typically be accessed using:

  • Webmail
  • Apple Mail
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Thunderbird
  • iPhone / iPad
  • Android devices

For most users we recommend using IMAP, which keeps your email synchronised across multiple devices including phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.

POP3 is generally only recommended where email needs to be stored locally on a single device.

Use the following settings if your email application does not automatically detect the account configuration.

Usernameinfo@yourwebsitename.co.uk
