Locked Out

If you cannot access your website, your IP address may have been temporarily blocked by the server after a failed login attempt or other unusual activity.

Repeated failed login attempts can occasionally trigger temporary security blocks on websites, email accounts, or hosting services.

This most commonly happens when:

  • An incorrect password has been entered multiple times
  • An old saved password is still stored on a device
  • An email application repeatedly attempts to connect using outdated settings
  • A VPN, shared network, or public WiFi connection triggers automated security checks

When this happens, access to your website, email, Webmail, or hosting services may be temporarily restricted.

In many cases the issue can be resolved by:

  • Checking saved passwords on all devices
  • Restarting your email application or device
  • Waiting a short period before attempting to log in again
  • Using the correct updated password

If you remain blocked you can request removal of the security block using the Request IP Unblock service.

Before Requesting an Unblock

Please ensure:

  • Your password is correct
  • Old passwords have been updated on phones, tablets, and computers
  • Your email application is using the correct mail settings
  • You are no longer repeatedly attempting to log in with incorrect details

Repeated failed logins after an unblock may result in the address being blocked again automatically.
